The UCAT is (almost) over. This means that the UCAT consortium has released its preliminary results, giving candidates an early look at how scores are distributed this year. These early figures provide valuable insight into overall performance trends, helping students gauge where they might stand before official percentiles and detailed reports are published.
As we are publishing this, the final results have not yet been released and whilst it is an important tool to gauge your achievement in comparison to the rest of the cohort.
It is also important to consider that every year, the deciles decrease from their interim results. Approximately 21000 have sat the exam so far and to put it into perspective, approximately 37000 sat it in total last year.
The mean here was at 1939 with 614 in VR, 642 in DM and 683 in QR.
In SJT, 25% got Band 1, 40% got Band 2, 27% got Band 3 and 8% of candidates received a Band 4.
